Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Olutil (Craft Tools). By using the site you agree to them. The calculators give approximate estimates, not quotes.

Last updated: 2026-09-30

The Service

Olutil (Craft Tools) provides free, browser-based calculators for craft and handmade projects — such as yarn, knitting, fabric, material ratios, bead counts, paper cutting, resin and clay amounts, pricing and budgeting — from the values you enter. All processing runs locally in your browser.

Estimates, Not a Quote

The tools and their output are approximate estimates for planning and shopping, not a quote, and not financial, professional or safety advice. Yarn, fabric, beads, resin and clay vary by product and batch, and prices change. Always check the material manufacturer’s specifications and your own measurements, and allow extra material. You are solely responsible for the items you make and the prices you set.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the site lawfully and not to misuse it, attempt to disrupt it, scrape it at scale, or use it for unlawful purposes. You are responsible for the accuracy of the values you enter.

Intellectual Property

The site, its design and its software are owned by Olutil or its licensors. You may use the results freely for your own projects. You may not resell or redistribute the site itself as your own product.

Advertising and Payments

The service is supported by advertising and may offer optional paid features. Third-party ad networks may set cookies as described in our Privacy Policy. Fees for any paid feature are shown at checkout.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that any estimate is accurate, complete or suitable for your project or materials.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Olutil is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, a result or estimate.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes take effect when posted on this page.
